The YTP series is a line of diaphragm pressure gauges built for measuring the pressure of aggressive, highly viscous, crystallizing, solidifying or particle-laden media, as well as media that must not enter a standard gauge. A flexible diaphragm (membrane) seal isolates the process medium from the gauge movement, preventing clogging, corrosion and contamination while keeping the instrument safe and easy to clean.
How it works: the diaphragm unit (diaphragm seal) is filled with transmission fluid; process pressure deforms the diaphragm and is transmitted hydraulically to a standard Bourdon-tube gauge head for local indication.
Key features:
Diaphragm isolation — the measuring element never contacts the medium; ideal for strongly corrosive, high-temperature, high-viscosity or crystallizing fluids
Multiple process connections: threaded (M20×1.5, G3/8", G1/2", NPT), flange (JB81-94 flat-welding flange, acid-resistant chemical flange, open / I-shaped flange), sanitary clamp connection and angle versions
Diaphragm material options: PTFE, SS316L, Hastelloy, Monel, Titanium, Tantalum — selected per medium corrosiveness
Housing options: stainless steel (SS304/316/316L) case, or full-plastic anti-corrosion construction (PVC + PTFE diaphragm) for strong acids like HCl
Accuracy classes 1.6 / 2.5 (0.4 / 1.0 on request); dial sizes 75 mm, 100 mm, 150 mm
Ranges: vacuum (-0.1~0 MPa) up to 0–60 MPa (threaded), flange versions up to ~6 MPa; medium temperature up to +150 °C, protection class IP54/IP65
Hygienic versions meet GMP requirements — quick-release sanitary clamp design for pharma, food & beverage and water treatment
Typical applications: petrochemical and alkali plants, chemical fiber and dyeing, pharmaceuticals, food and dairy, water treatment — anywhere the process fluid is corrosive, viscous, hot or prone to crystallization.
