The sensor uses a rotor with multiple blades to sense the average flow velocity of the fluid, thereby deriving the flow rate or total volume. The rotational speed of the rotor is transmitted and recorded.The TUF is widely used in the following measurement applications: petroleum, organic liquids, inorganic liquids, liquefied gas, natural gas, coal gas, and cryogenic fluids, among others. Abroad, it is extensively used for trade settlement in the transfer and gathering stations of liquefied petroleum gas, refined oil, and light crude oil, as well as at the inlet and outlet stations of large crude oil pipelines.
