Vertical Post (Cable Tray Support Upright) 

A vertical post, also called an upright or stanchion, is a key vertical load-bearing component in a cable tray support system. Its main function is to transfer the weight of the cable tray, cables, and accessories to the building structure—such as the floor, ceiling slab, or wall—so that the whole system remains stable. It is usually used together with cantilever arms, base plates, and other accessories to form a complete support assembly.
